MANAGING DIRECTOR
Daniel began his work life in the family butchery.
The aim to become a Butcher and manage the
business. After 10 years of butchering, he turned to
Civil Construction operating machinery for his wife’s
parents on Cape roads for several years. This led to a
twelve-year career in Mining, progressing to Project
Superintendent, managing projects at different mine sites in each
State and Territory and five countries. This work involved many
locations and an ever-changing environment with varying assignments.
Daniel quickly gained many skills in the management of logistics,
communication, human resources, and many other work factors to get
the jobs done reliably and safe. After 12 years of working FIFO Daniel
returned home, as the Senior Safety Advisor on the Cook Shire Council.
This he loved, especially being back working in the Cape on the country
he grew up in. Combining many years of management experience with
multiple Civil Construction training & HRWL certificates and a Diploma
in WHS, Daniel uses his training and understanding of Cape York’s
remote lifestyle to create a great working environment for his team
and company.
