Peter Paterson

DIRECTOR 

Based in North Queensland, Peter has founded and been 

administering engineering-based mine services businesses 

for over 25 years. Peter is currently a common director and 

majority shareholder in the Maxitool Group Companies 

that employ more than 250 people in Australia and PNG. Peter 

is also a director of Up North Enterprises Pty Ltd, SEAP group of companies 

based in PNG and sits on the board of the North Queensland Aeroclub.

Born and raised in a rural setting in PNG, Peter completed his senior 

schooling and tertiary study in Australia. Peter then returned to PNG to 

work in the plantation business for several years before settling in North 

Queensland. Peter has extensive rural and remote operational experience 

and has a broad knowledge in the maintenance and repair mechanical and 

electrical equipment in those settings. Peters Qualifications include;

AD Mechanical Engineering, MSc Offshore Engineering, AICD Company 

Directors Course, Private Pilots Licence (Aviation).
